Days 78-83 - Real Life Make Mia Something Something

...go crazy? Yes I do believe I will.

Not having me around has made him spoiled rotten. I had to discipline him as the first act of the day. I hate having to see him hang his head in shame, but it must be done. I told him the story of the Happy Chocobo seven times before dinner. He ate two Zegham Carrots and a bunch of Azouph Greens.

Day 77 - My Return

I've been very busy the last little while, and while I've checked in on Noble Crimson, I haven't been able to report every detail of his care. He spent all of his time in Basic Care, nothing particularly special. He got bored several times but luckily, he never fell ill or got injured. Today I told him the story of the Happy Chocobo eight times. He still regards me as a parent.

I'm still greatly looking forward to Chocobo Racing, which should be coming in early March. If he does well at the races, my next Chocobo may be geared toward digging.

Days 60-62 - Boredom

Day 60 - A day of basic care, but he became bored and restless. Seems he still wants to race...

Days 61-62 - More basic care without concern.

He raced against Fast once today and won. I told him the story of the Happy Chocobo five times, then watched over him twice. Unfortunately, Noble Crimson only likes me a lot right now. I fed him two Zegham Carrots and a bunch of Azouph Greens for dinner. After dinner, he wanted to be with me all the time.

Day 59 - Mental Training

His last day of package delivery brought in 200g. The Chocobo Fund is now 85,703g. I read him the story of the Happy Chocobo seven times, before a little random chitchat. I then watched over him once. For dinner he ate three Zegham Carrots.

Days 57-58 - Changing Course

Days 57-58 - On-time deliveries brought in 400g. He also got over his lovesickness.

A long last, his endurance has reached First-Class! Finally we can change direction with his training. Not a moment too soon, either... I just harvested a crop of Zegham Carrots and Gysahl Greens. I told him the story of the Happy Chocobo today before we took two short walks. The first was uneventful but the second time we met Zopago and Chaos. I told him the story of the Happy Chocobo again, and he still seemed interested. Then I watched over him five times. For dinner, he ate a bunch of Sharug Greens and two bunches of Azouph Greens.

To give a quick recount on the Chocobo Fund and Inventory, here are my current standings:
  • Gil - 85,503g
  • 81 Bunches of Gysahl Greens
  • 12 Bunches of Sharug Greens
  • 8 Bunches of Azouph Greens
  • 23 Vomp Carrots
  • 23 Zegham Carrots
  • 10 Clumps of Gausebit Wildgrass
  • 18 Clumps of Tokopekko Wildgrass
  • 9 Balls of Vegetable Paste
  • 8 Balls of Carrot Paste

Days 54-56 - A Dwindling Bank Account

I was out level-grinding for a few days, so I had to catch up on his care.

Day 54 - More timely deliveries, and a well-earned 200g. Unfortunately, he became lovesick again.

Day 55-56 - 400g for two more days of package deliveries.

Noble Crimson likes me a lot, but his Endurance remains Outstanding. I was really hoping for First-Class when I got back! We started off by going on a long walk to the foggy marshes of Pashhow. We met Brutus who encouraged our good work. We then took a short and uneventful walk to North Gustaberg by the waterfall. This took a lot out of him, so I watched over him four times before dinner. He still only liked me a lot. I wound up buying him a a stack of Azouph Greens for 4k. Factoring in his earnings, the Chocobo Fund is now at 85,103g. He makes 200g a day but he eats almost 335g worth of greens a day... Hm. This does not bode well for my bank account. Perhaps this was a bad time for me to purchase a Noble's Bed. On the up side, the two bunches of greens were all it took to have him regarding me as a parent again.
